our process

Getting your supplies shouldn’t be stressful. We work directly with your doctor and insurance company to manage the forms, approvals, and authorizations.

 

We’ll keep you informed at each step. When the paperwork is finished and your order is ready, your supplies will be sent right to your door.

Getting started

Many doctors send us prescriptions for their patients, but you can also call us yourself or click here to request more information. We’ll work with your doctor to get what we need and take care of the details for you.

Welcome to Wellstart

We’ll start with a phone call to confirm the details your doctor sent us. After that, you’ll get updates by phone, email, or text about your order.

We’ll handle the insurance forms and any prior authorizations your plan requires. We follow-up, as needed, until the right documents are received.

Delivery & tracking

Your delivery is an important step in your care, and we’re here to guide you through it. We’ll send short updates by email or text as your delivery progresses, along with a tracking link once the package ships.

Your delivery will be handled by a national carrier, and most orders arrive quickly. When your supplies reach your door, we’re here to make sure everything looks right and to answer any questions about getting started. And if anything seems off when your package arrives, our team is ready to help right away.

Whether you’re applying your very first sensor or working through a technical question, our team is here to help. We offer on-demand tech support for setup, troubleshooting, supply questions, and repeat orders, so you always have someone to turn to.

Our support program is led by an on-staff Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), and many of our agents have personal experience with diabetes. You’ll receive guidance from people who genuinely understand what you’re navigating.

Most insurance plans allow reorders every 90 days, and we’ll track the timing for you so you never run short.

Receive invoices by mail or email

You’ll receive an invoice that outlines your supply order, insurance coverage, and any balance due. Invoices can arrive by mail or email, depending on your preference.

If you owe co-insurance or any deductible, you can pay securely online, by phone, or by mail. And if you ever have questions, our billing team is here to help.

If your CGM sensor stops working early, the manufacturer may send you a replacement. Contact Dexcom or Abbott, depending on your device, using the options below. When you reach out, have your sensor serial number and start date available.
